Trident is a family run gallery nestled in the exclusive shopping area of stoneygate shops on the outskirts of Leicester city centre, sometimes referred to as Leicester’s “little Chelsea”, a hive of exclusive, upmarket boutiques, restaurants, beauty salons, top of the range audio and visual equipment and shops selling unique pieces of art, design, jewellery and furniture.

Trident Galleries is in partnership with one of the country's leading fine art publishers, Washington Green.

We have an extremely close working relationship with all at Washington Green, and have access to all the works by their massively talented bank of artists, including their most exclusive works - whether it be limited edition prints, originals or sculptures.

Washington Green are at the forefront of bringing contempory art to the fore by promoting new and exciting artists such as Paul Kenton, Caroline Shotton, Peter Smith, Nick Potter, Drew Darcy, Simon Claridge, Govinder Nazran, John Waterhouse, Daisy Boman, Mark Spain, Neil Dawson, Richard Rowan, Mackenzie Thorpe, Sarah Jane Szikora and many more.

At Trident Galleries we pride ourselves on our friendly atmosphere and making the gallery experience enjoyable and accessible (galleries don’t need to be intimidating!).

We have made many new friends over the past few years; we love to cultivate lasting relationships with our customers and are always pleased to see them for a drink and a chat in the gallery.

A key element in our calendar are our frequent artist events, at least four times a year we invite our customers - old and new, to an exhibition of new works by touring artists. These events are great fun and are usually accompanied by plenty of bubbly and nibbles and are a great chance to talk to the artist in person and see their very latest works. In the last few years the gallery has seen highly successful visits by Paul Kenton, Peter Smith, Simon Claridge, John Waterhouse and Joy Kirton Smith and Govinder, a show which was bursting at the seams!

We are very much a family orientated business. As well as myself, Alex ( the gallery owner), you are also likely to see my wife June and daughter Georgie around the gallery who will be more than happy to have a chat with you about the artwork.
